Default jdm gauge cluster.

I have a 88 crx with a b16 and p30ecu. I have a jdm gauge cluster. the speedo does not work. It stays on 42kph or somewhere around there. I need to know if any one would be willing to wire it up for me? or at least help me. There is three wires that come off the vss. power ground and signal. Power goes to any old 12v power. Ground is ground. And signal. Signal is to the ecu and to the gauge cluster. On the p30 ecu this is the pin out for the vss which is number 10. Now i wired into that spot. And I ran the signal wire from the vss to the number 10 pinout. I then ran that same wire to the yellow and reb b1 pinnout on the back of the gauge cluster. now it should work with the power connected to a 12v source and the ground grounded wright? nope. Tell me what Im doing wrong I have no clue.

do you have a electronic vss? you would might need one for that jdm cluster. I have read some funky things about jdm clusters for ef's and ed's.

try grounding it somewhere else...i have a gsr cluster in my 91 crx and all is well for me. i grounded it out right on the shock tower...just make sure its a good clean connection...also, try to find a vss check list or something like that...you should be able to test the reading coming from it...i just dont know how...
