Skunk2 stg1? or skunk2 stg2???? help

Default Skunk2 stg1? or skunk2 stg2???? help

alright i have a debate on which one i should put in my setup im doin lsvtec i have b16a head it will have portflow inners, itr outters, portflow retainers, using jdm itr pistons, would i beable to run sk2 stg 2 or would it be better to stick with stg 1????? or stay oem and have intake-ctr exhaust-itr cams

stage 2 wouldnt hurt anything? if i have that kind of valvtrain or would i have to go stronger??

For stage 2 cams you must have a full valvetrain. I love Skunk2 but thier cams suck and are expensive. I would go with CTR cams any day over them.

I would go with the stage II cams, and if you ever run forged internals with a higher compression ratio, you will already have the cams to make power, but if you know you will never run higher compression, i would go with the itr cams.

i have the stage II cams with itr springs with skunk 2 retainers and valves seems to be working great for me

I e-mailed Tom at portflow a while ago, he said the itr/portflow spring combo is good enough for the Skunk2 Stage2 cams. Go with the Stage 2.

should i do oem itr valves with it or skunk2 valves? another thought
