im not stuck at work, wish i was, im stuck at the wifes business party............damnit. she asked me if i would host it, but she asked me when i was working on the civic, so my standard answer was of course "yes", cause no matter what the question is, i just reply, yes when working on a car

I broke... as usual....


But made 4 passes just kinda babying the car (just kinda rolling out of the hole easy then jamming the throttle once it got going...) This technique, coupled with the fact that my second gear syncros are slightly scarred so Im having trouble getting it in, got me some pretty shitty times, but let me know about where I should be... 13.4@113 was the best of the 4 runs I made, which tells me that actually launching the car hard, should put me into the very high high high 11's (11.9ish) if traction permits.... For now I will be happy with low 12s, but Im thinking I need the gator axles first, before I can actually get those 11 sec. time slips....

 

good job to all the hondas that showed up. BIG thanks to mike for the slicks. i had a blast last night . made 12 passes and bested 12.98@106 on my nitto 555r's and 12.6@107 on the 22in slicks. BIG thanks to ek60-1 for this help getting my car dialed in and last minute tunning needs. i was in the lanes alot so didnt see many runs by others. the few i did see were mtber whos car was very fast for a full street trim integra. the green turbo hatch who was running trap speeds of 115mph and low 13's high 12's.
ron's car which was having troubles but running strong 11's. EK60-1 that was just killing the track on his dr's . when the slicks went on i was more excited than he was. those 26in slick will require some getting use to. hope his car is not to bad. i think this was honda / acuras best showing at a track event. lets get some video's and pics of the cars and runs up because like i said id didnt see many
