Default Just returned from Titan with weird results.

09/18/04 - Went to Titan again & broke 200 whp.

09/21/04 - Went to Hybrid Tuning & made 184, wtf? richened up a/f curve etc...

09/23/04 -
Went to Titan again & showed Daren the dyno was off.
Made 220 whp on 1st pass, we new that was off, so it turns out the SAE correction has been messing up the numbers... End result is 185whp 137tq.

No wounder I couldnt break 13.8 at test & tune when it was really hot out....

Moral of the story:
I will probably run 13.8s or better at the TR track event #9. Titan's Dyno is now fixed & SAE corrections are not so abnormal.

Big thanks to Daren of Titan Motorsports for his time.
Big thanks to Dave & Glenn of Hybrid Tuning for the hookup this week on Dyno time.

She is still in the 13's n/a on stock trim, so I am happy.

Jason,

High cam ignition was almost the same as when it made the nicer curve when the SAE was all jacked up & it made 200 a while back. Only 1 deg of timing added.

I honestly only made like 4 passes at Titan, it was late & there wasnt anyway for me to make that much of a difference & we still had to tune my friend James's car.

I am sure one of these days I will stick her on a dyno again & make a nicer chart.

Thanks,
John

You always have your car on the dyno. The last time my car was on the dyno at Hybrid(over a year ago) his dyno gave me the same results as SFP's dyno. It's nice to try different dynos to compare.

What was the SAE correction on your 200whp pull? And at your 185whp pull? Just curious.
