Ok heres my problem,

I have a sohc ex tranny, now i had it put in back about 1 year ago next month, and like ever since i put it in i hear grinding noises in the tranny area i cant quite find it, not when u shift, only when u down shift. Now i dont kno if its the Tranny or the Flywheel but its pretty loud it sounds like im draggin somethin or my wheels rubbing but they arn't... I cant really tell what it is, but today my car wouldn't go into 1st or 2nd for like 15 minutes then it went away.. weird! Noise is still there its sounds like metal to metal but i can never locate it cause it only happens when im in 1st or 2nd or down shift to 2nd, and i dont dog on it. Does anyone kno what my problem could be? gears dont grind when i change gears....Im definetlly taking it apart this weekend and my car is already on jack stand but i wanna kno what it is so it dont happen again. I went ahead and im gettin a street clutch kit from ACT and a 11.9 pound fly wheel too... and im lookin into buy a new tranny to i wont put this POS back on..! Leme kno if anyone can come up w/ any hints or ideas! THANX

i dont know if we are talking about the same noise but a problem i had was like a clicking kinda grindinding noise and it was the input shaft bearing on the tranny

thats what people are tellin me too... i think somethin in my gears is loose.... or somethin broke and its just sitting then and everytime im in 1st or second when i let off the gas it just grinds..
