think i found the clutch problem

Corey, try to bypass like the last post. If that thing doesn't operate anything else it should work.

i got everything back together but i cant get the damn fitting on the hard line to thread in the master cylinder.

Be careful with those fittings as they a VERY easy to strip/cross thread.

i would just run a line from the master cyl. to the slave cylinder, and bypass that valve

I bought my line (came with all the fittings) from fast-turbo.com, measure it out and amazon hose in ybor could do it all for you as well. And you should not be using a normal open end and/or box end wrench on those lines. Go to sears and purchase a 10mm and 12mm flare nut tool. Craftsman makes a complete metric set. Without these wrenches expect to round off just about all of those nuts, lol.

actually, i've take off the lines on the slave cylinder, and the lines on this porportioning valve, and the master cylinder. and put them all back on, except the master cylinder, with out crossthreading, stripping, or rounding off any bolt, with a regurlar open end wrench. its worked fine so far, but the book did tell me to use the flare nut tool.

i wish, if i was the man i would be able to get the damn fitting on the master cyl to start threading. i done trying to fix it, its going to collin as soon as possible, which is what i should have done in the first place.

found out today that it wasnt any of the problems that we thought it was. had the car towed to colin and he advised me that the problem isnt outside of the tranny, its inside. he said he things the pressure plate is bad or broken, or it could be a broken a diff. hes taking it apart today and will let me know later.
