ya, that's the s2000 engine i think. i heard it just doesn't work out well in the civic hb.

 

no i think hes talking about the accord sohc F22b vtec model not the s2000.

i ahve seen one in a crx with a homemade turbo kit on it, and it hauled ass, made lots of torque and ran perfect, i have always wanted to do this because they were cheap to find motors as well.

i think the VTEC model sucks anyways, i can take them with no prob in with my non.....even though some do like the VTEC...i personally dont see the gain on the f22 at all....

and they are easy motors to get a hold of, actually VERY VERY easy to find....i can come across like 1 a day....

 

Be cheaper to do a B series turbo. Plus, torque and FWD are not best friends.

 

i always wanted to put a f-series motor in a hatch. Someone on honda-tech boost a f23 putting down 280hp and 280ft/lbs with a t3/t4 @ 10psi. I find that impressive. I thought torque would be a good thing especially if you have full interior and fat people in your ride.

ya know since you posted this i have re gained the interset in doing one of these and im gonna now do one in a crx, i just have to find the right tranny or do a hydro conversion, plus i plan on turboing it to see what i can extract, i figure i wont even have $1000.00 bux in the whole deal
