Default To Sleeve Or Not To Sleeve, That Is The Question

B16 = 350hp Boosted

Does It Need To Be Sleeved?

I Am Not Sure If The Sleeves Could Handle It, I Know It's Been Done But I Have No Idea Of The Details On It.

Can 81.5mm @ 9:1 Cut It For 350?

What Size Turbo Would Be Ideal?

Please Only Reply If You Know Or Have Any Experience On The Matter, I Am Really Looking For Facts Preferably, Not Opinions, I Already Have Many Of My Own.

P.S. I Really Don't Need Anyone Telling Me To Research It In The Internet

yes it can handle it with proper fuel management but anything past 300whp i would sleeve. if you are building a motor then sleeve it. If it already runs then i would leave it. I would run SC32(precision) it has a nice spool time and makes great power. Probably about 14lbs on that turbo would give you 350whp. But unless you have standalone fuel management your injectors wont support it and if you get detenation there goes your motor.

If you cant afford AEM EMS or Hondata look into Uberdata. For 350whp you really dont need to have your block resleeved as long as you have your management/tuning taken care of and your not going to rev to a rediculous rpm. Look into the Precision GT3251E non ball bearing turbocharger.

if you want to feel safe about your motor spend the money and sleevit then with rods and pistons you can make that power easy and not worry about the block
