Default civic type r pistons

i saw that the ctr's are .25 overbore. was wondering if these would fit into a stock b16 block or would the block have to be bored to match the .25 overbore or would it just fit closer in the cylinder walls. looked on cspeedracing.com for compression ratio and with everything oem just with a two layer headgasket these would give you a 11.1 ratio on the b16, also would vavle clearance be a issue? thanks..

thanks great site will look into that. will the pistons be a direct fit on the rods or will machining be required?

you will need to grind the top of the rod on each side about 1 1/2 Mms so thay can slide in napa will do it or if you have a strong hand do it your self with a wheelgrinder

Don't get std. bore unless you are sure your cylinder walls are perfectly round.
