By the way, I have seen a LOT of pro drive gears turn into heaps of scrap metal... Do a search on Honda-Tech.com .... Im sure you will find some very nice pictures..... Im kinda hesitant to put one on my new motor now....

I shattered my prodrive. What crank pulley were you running Ron? I ended up going to a stock ITR oil pump with a Fluidampr crank pulley.

She going to be done in time for the track day? I was looking forward to racing you.

 

wow...i heard of so many stories of a mishift that killed an engine. Always the 3rd to 4th that usaully goes into 2nd
i know of an rsx right now thats sitting in the yard cause of it.

btw were those dyno numbers on pump gas or on race juice?

 

I tore it apart last night and the Prodrive oil pump gear shattered into a million pieces. . That took out the oil pump and got oil all over my timing belt. So Far i need a oil pump,new gear,timimg belt and i'm going to pull the crank to check all of the bearings. I'm going to have to replace those too. Very dissapointed that the prodrive gear broke. I paid $300 for that piece just so that doesnt happen.
