Default Powder coat or spray paint??cheaper/better?

im about to put some ls wheels on my teg,but i want them either gun metal,bronze,or black,i dont have alot of cash,so what would be the best easiest and cheapest way doing it,without it looking like shit..opinions are gretly appreciated...-Greg

so i should clean em up,primer?? and what would bee better krylon,or dupli-color?and i dont want the shit flaking off...

no primer, just send them down, clean them with mineral spirits, and spray a fuck out of them, preferably i would spray a few coats after drying, and its up to u if u use clear, if u want them shiny.

my wheels where spray painted using dupli-color "high performance wheel paint"

If you use spray paint, it will come of if you have new tires mounted on the wheels. Powdercoat is the much better option. It's much stronger and durable. You'll get a perfect, smooth coat. There's no downside to powdercoating, unless you're a cheap bastard.....and in that case, you get what you pay for.

back in the day, I was quoted 80-100 per rim to power coat depending on what I wanted. This was through a local shop. You can spray paint them and they'll come out just as good. Just take your time, tape it off, sand it down and do it right.
