pistons good for ls vtec?

Default pistons good for ls vtec?

i found usdm pistons brand new with rings and a .25 bore what do i need to do with block if any thing?if u got somthin better let me know

have it honed out .25 over by a machine shop. you'll also have to have a machine shop notch the pistons about 1 mm to get it to fit on the LS rods. i would also reccommend while you have the rods out, have them put in some ARP rod bolts.

i have a set of 2000 b16s that will make it even better stock bore and will fit your rods no machining i even have a set of rings with them only 800miles on the rings

they are usdm type r pistons and dont the b16 pistons have a lower compression? how much let me know thanx

word, pr3 raises compression, thats whut i would run, and all you have to do to put in arp rod bolts (which i highly recommend, along with a proper break in for the motor) in, is drop the oil pan and take out the old and put in the new

To figure out exactly what configuration you want to use.

I recommend staying around 11.5:1
Some people preffer anything under 12.5:1
