I'm running a BFG DR 235/60/15. I do like them but i saw the new Mickey Thompson DR's and they are bad as hell. I'm going to get those as soon as these wear out. That should be in another 500 miles.

If that happens the car goes straight in to the wall most of the time. plus would you want to break a set of axels that cost $500? They clearly are not meant for that kind of power. Well i cant afford axels right now so i'm going to the track anyways. I sold my old slicks because they were only 22x8. I got a 10 point chromoly cage that race related is supposed to weld in this week. that is if he has the cars already done he is working on. I'm calling him Monday to see if he is ready for me.
Well I didn't need the explanation on wheelie bars. Engineers have some knowledge you know. I am just saying you don't need them to run 9s. People have also run 10s on pegged leg and stock axle setups. I agree having the right stuff is pertinent to a solid setup, but it is not out of the question to accomplish your goals with what you have.

you can try some bead locking adhesive that mud trucks run in order to keep a bead attatched..... i would try a little more air. im runnning the BFG 205-50-15 drag radial and i keep about 30+ psi in them and they are treating me right.

also, im gonna go 10s with stock axles................just cause im a cheap bastard! but i doubt 9s are in the near future, keep kickin ass RON
