It needs a little fabrication with it. It's not a direct bolt on. They do sell a custom plate you can use. The mustang TB and plate are ALOT cheaper than using the Honda one!

Cory did that 2 years ago. It did work but nothing impressive. No point in having a TB bigger then your intake manifold. I know the JG is ported for a 65mm TB. Anything bigger is not worth it. I have a bone stock GSR TB on my car. I took off the 65 JG because of problems with TPS over a year ago and no difference. Granted this is a turbo application but 70mm is a waste. Try nitrous that will make power cheaply.

This is true, but like Ron said, if you intake Manifold opening isnt that big it's pointless. If you have a 65mm intake manifold opening and run a 70 mm TB you have 5mm of spirling/turbulant air that will nothing but interupt the flow and heat up.

On my JR, I have the S pipe bored to a 65mm to match my JG TB. I was looking at the STR 68mm but it was useless since the S pipe was only dont to 65mm.

the inlet of the maifold i will be using is 65MM. if i was to get ahold of one of these i was planning on match porting the manifold to the throttlebody. that way there is perfect flow.

what modifications would i need to do tot he throttle body to get it working right? and what year RUSTang can i get it from?
