Exesive exaust smoke from the DA???help

Default Exesive exaust smoke from the DA???help

ok,its a 92 integra Rs,sometimes sitting at idle theres more smoke than normal coming from the tail pipe,(whitish),and from a stop and high rpms its smoks alot,when i race im considered the mosquito killer .what the hell could this be,and how much would it be to fix it,i have access to a shop just need to know how to fix this damn thing..thanks in advance

whitish smoke could be either oil or coolant, i would check your h/g first tho.

what would i look for when doing that.? i mean like water leaking? oil?,cuz on the block is quite a bit of oil..

AND,the motor has somewhere b/t 100k and 150k miles on it....

do a compression test and/or a leakdown test, this will tell you.

hes talking about oil or coolant leeking into the cylinders you more than likley have some bad rings or valve stem seals.

or if it is coolant a bad head gasket. you can pull the plugs and look down the holes if you have shiny pistons could be coolant.

but yea i would start with the compression test and leak down.
