Not doubting your knowledge, but from my side Id say to get the Golden Eagle LS VTEC conversion, and the proper bolts for doing so, as oppose to machining stuff to make weak OEM shit fit.... But for an all motor application not making alot of power you way would probably be ok... I just prefer play it safe....

Arp rod bolts are a must if you plan on running OEM pistons on an ls crank & rod setup. Also, shaving 1mm off each side of the b18c5/b16b pistons is required to fit the ls rods onto the bseries pistons.

w00t josh, im goin ls/vtec on the crx too .. already got spoon ITR ceramic coated pistons, eagle h-beam rods, arp rod bolts, head bolts, and head studs, all of this is in a b18a1, im also throwin on a b18b head on to raise compression a little more than 11.5:1, nothin beats the sound of vtec screamin
