That is why I always recommended Benson's too. I would also always recommend doing the final bore sizing at a local machine shop so the contact is direct person to person.

JB weld will fix that easy just prep it really well. I know what you mean though, you spend countless money on a good setup and then have to rig something in the end anyways. Good luck.

The problem with using a local machine shop is i did that the first time and GE blamed everything on that machine shop. Funny thing is i have not had a problem in 3 years and have had them do work for me over 20 times. I would have gone with Darton for my sleeves but i got a good deal on this block already sleeved. Now it has cost me in the end. I'm moving on. Cant wait to see how these sleeves hold up.

Dang ron this sucks ass.There was a identical bb sized hole in my block we didnt notice till it was apart.They welded it and i jb welded on top to make sure it doesnt leak.Its holding up so far.

I got it sealed up with epoxy steel. Got it fired and no leaks. Spent today triming the fenders to fit the 235/60/15's under it. Hopefully get an alinement on it next week and then make my appointment for the dyno.
