looking into a honda
I am looking for a cheap, economical, good handling car. The civic comes to mind. I just want to know what years are good for handling. by looking at the dimensions the ek 96-00 would be better for handling longer wheel base, wider width
am I correct?
please help
garrett

Civic is not a bad car. But if you are looking for a 96-00 I would go with a Accord. It has more room better over all confort. I have had two a 90-and now a 96. I also have a Prelude not much room but it moves...........Dave

What ? Civic are not hard to find.
The good thing about civics is the power to weight ratio when swapping in a dohc engines.
88-91 - Lightest of them all - easy to find but they are older cars. Can be had for $500 - $1500.00 easy.
92-95 - Light as well as longs as is not the SI version. Easy to find. Can be had for $1000.00 and up. The most popular due to wide availabiliity of parts that are interchangeable with same generation integras.
96-00 The best looking of all hatchbacks. A bit heavier than the previous generations. Is a more stable car but doesn't necesarily means it handles better.
Why did i type this ? Hell I don't know, I thought everyone ou there knows about Hondas inside and out.

i have a 97 hatch and a 92 hatch. both of them have the same suspension mods and the 92 handles better than the 97, but i like the 97 better cause the EK looks cleaner.
