Default b18 head to b16 block

I think it can be done just by bolting it on but I haven't done it befor so I wanted to check. can a b18a1 head be bolted to a b16 block. and what is the difference on the height of the head?

thanks

I am not doing this for an all motor setup, I am going turbo on my b16 that is in the crx right now, but If you check the thread that is mentioned in my sig then you'll fully understand.

the b16 block is blown and the cylinder wall has about a 1inch by 2 inch chunk missing from 1 cylinder, the head is from a b18 and has several internal parts missing. I just need the shape to be a bseries motor so I can have an engine on a stand to fab up my new idea on a turbo setup. but thanks all for the info and if anyone knows more then feel free.

I just basically need to know that the head will bolt to the block without haveing to tap a new bolt hole and that everything will line up as if it were a b16 setup.

your setup is fine to mock your turbo kit up.

thanks, thats what I needed to know. I don't ever plan on this actual block and head running so the internals are pointless just the shape is needed.
