Unhappy Shes gone...and so am i

where do i start...its been a long bumpy road and i knew someday this day would have to come but as of yesterday 7/19/04 my car is officially gone. she's on her way to virginia and a new home where hopefully someone will treat it the way it needs to be treated.
over the past 3 years i have learned more than my fair share from this car. its been together and apart more times than i can count on 2 hands and has costed me 10's of thousands of dollars on top of that, but was it all worth it??? i really dont know, can u put a dollar value on all the knowledge i have acquired from it or all the friends ive made thru it? i dont think so. for all of you who know me u know how much time and hard work i have put into that thing and probably know how hard it was just to drive away from it yesterday with it just looking back at me, but what can i say i guess its time to move on to bigger and better things.
id like to thank everyone who has helped me along the way whether it was giving me parts to borrow or giving a ride after i blew it up.
so long for a little while i guess. ill still hang around to share some of my know how but what can i say its in my blood now and when the time is right ill be back to start it all again but this next from a better standpoint.

Damn man, you wont give it up. You'll be back better and fast than Ron Well....Maybe not that fast but you'll be back. Seems like yesterday Me and you in your baby were racing Chad and Keith in Chad's EBP

Have fun while your out and if you need anything when your back in the game, you got the number, call.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Dave, it really sucks to see it go, but it will work out for the better in the long run... I know there had to be a reason for you getting rid of it, which is completely understandable... The most important thing is yourself and your family and friends, a car is just icing on the cake, kinda like a girlfriend... But I know you can get attached and it sucks to see it go, but keep your mind on the positive, like stabilizing finances and getting through school, then when all that is behind you, give it another shot... Im sure knowing all you know now should make it alot easier, and should end up being better in the long run...And now that you know what to do, you can do it right the first time, and save a LOT of money and headaches.... Sad to see her go, but sometimes priorities gotta take over.... We'll sure miss her.....
