Default Best welder in the area?

I need a test pipe made that is 2 1/2 at the opening and tapers down to 2 1/4 and is approx 8 inches long. Also I need my o2 sensor put inside the tube.

How long does it usually take for someone to make it?
Who do you recommend?
Whats the price range?

Thanks

You want a pipe that tapers? Do you want it a smooth taper all the way down? Or do you care if there is an adapter that quickly tapers it?

First off - Nice Avatar!

It needs to be smooth because the pipe is for connecting my header to my exhaust.

but, I guess a better question is -
What exactly is an 'adapter that would quickly taper it'?

it's basically just a reducer, it welds onto the pipe and the other end has a smaller diameter, and that will work just fine for what you want to do.

ie 2.5" to 2.25" reducer or whatever size you need, they could also "widen" the ends of the pipe to whatever size you need. and welding an 02 bung on is cake.

Just go to any muffler shop. I run a high production welding and metal fabrication shop. I welded my own and a few of my friend cars mufflers. Its an easy process. A good muffler shop shouldnt have any problem doing it for you. Hope u find someone.
