Default CEL for misfire

the cel was for a misfire on cylinders 1 and 2. I replaced the plugs, and checked my cap and rotor, but it still comes back.

when the car first starts up it idles real low, until you hit the gas, tomorrow i am going to try my plug wires.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank You ahead of time
derek

Also when i reset the ecu, it takes a good while to come back on, it took like 5 hours or so before it came back

one or two teeth could be enough to throw it off.....got a timing light? that's how you check it.

that def doesn't sound normal, i would try substituting for a known good ECU and see what happens after checking your timing of course
