vafc TPS% fluctuatin like crazy????
on my VAFC, when i am just driving around, my TPS% is reading all over the place lie, 10,40,0,7,8. and it is causing my car to buck like a fuckin bull!!
i dont know if it is the TPS sensor or not, the voltage seems to be correct so i have no damn clue what it is.......
any help is greatly appreciated

i dont have the handbook in front of me but make sure you have the settings and the correct # of sensors. You can also check the voltage of your tps in the settings. If all else fails, try reseting it back to initial settings and restart from the beginning.

I know that the VAFC is passive in regards to the TPS signal it recieves. It does not manipulate the TPS signal. This means that the VAFC cannot be the problem, as it has no effect on the TPS whatsoever.
There may be a problem with the wire your splicing getting grounded somewhere, check the lengths of wire for your ECU's TPS wire, as well as the VAFC for any opening in the insulation exposing copper.
If nothing was wrong before the install with the TPS, it has to be due to something which occured during the install. If you don't find anything wrong with the wiring, it may be a faulty TPS sensor possibly due to damage which may have occured from it being accidentally grounded or recieving current when it was grounded etc... If the batteries negative cable was removed, this is not the case; it would have to be a bad unit (VAFC). It may be internally grounded and will need to be replaced.

yeah i went in an checked all the wiring, everything is still soldered and covered, i think it may be the tps sensor itself, it has been acting up for a few days and this is the first i noticed it, and it fucks up on the vafc when the car is bucking, yeah the vafc is a passive reading of the % so i know its not that, so im thinking TPS, right now i dont have a bulb in my CEL (got annoying) so i need to put one back in to see if i have any CELs

u said u checked the voltage right? it should be about .5V closed and about 4.5-4.7V at WOT. dont bother checking at the vafc connections because im sure the readout the vafc is telling u is right.
check the connections at the tps plug and make sure theyre all still securely in there and one didnt shimmy its way out a little causing a bad conection at the sensor
PS...just taking the friggin vafc out already!
