I think I seen this civic down there the last time I was there.. Is it the gunmetal and orange civic? if so that thing had some power and I think it put out 188 to the wheels, I'm not sure its been like a month or so.. but that cars only option is going to be n2o because the compression. and it pushed my dyno time from 4:30 to 6... that damn hondata tuning took forever.. good luck and spray the shit out of it... you'll dust that gsr. -Ben

You are speaking of Scott Nightengale's car.

He is running an ls block with JDM p30 pistons.

He will have a ported head from portflow that is going to be milled to up his c/r ratio to help out with the stage 2 cam profile.

If he has questions concerning modifications/tuning etc:
Tell him to ask Drew (his mechanic, engine builder)
John (Secret services) His tuner...
My self (John Vega) he knows who I am

You Honda people are funny sometimes, but I guess thats why I like coming to these boards. I'm guessing this engine is something like 2.0L displacement which translates to around 125 or so cubic inches. Getting 193 or whatever HP out of that small of a displacement is excellant N/A. Don't worry so much about Dyno numbers and concentrate more on actual track times. You probably have more low end torque than any turbo Honda out there. And what is the deal with saying that you can't spray cause of compression? Turbo's have issues with high compression, nitrous doesn't. If you spent all that money to build an engine and it can't withstand at least SOME nitrous, then you were ripped, plain and simple.

Basically, don't worry about the exhaust system AT ALL anymore. You probably are getting the most HP you can out of it right now. Either spray... or don't, but that will be pretty much the only way you're getting more HP.
