about three months ago i went to this import mechanic in spring hill and i needed a clutch put in...i know i should have done it my self but im not to swifty w/ that shit...ive never done it before... i had a high perfromance ceramic honda racing clutch installed, my flywheel shaved and a new throwout bearing put in. yesterday, i brought my car to brooksville transmission b/c i needed it rebuilt...i ask the guy to verify whether or not i actually had what i did and he said that i did not have a ceramic clutch but was unsure whethere it was higher then stock or not, the throwout bear is the original one and the flywheel was not shaved...pretty much the scumba mechanic i went to fucked my over...but now that ive explained my shitty situation, here's my question...does a stock honda clutch have DAIKEN imprinted on it or is this an upgraded clutch brand...or is it just OEM replacement?

Did you take him the clutch? Also since you seem not to know to much about it how do you know this new guy isn't just "winning" himself a new customer by lying to you?

 

no i didnt take him the clutch....he ordered it....ive been to this "new" guy (the guy my cars at now before, my family has had 3 transmissions rebuilt buy him before and hes a friend of the family), the original guy i went to was a recommended by a friend.

 

Ingo?my dad deals with that guy.he aint a guy to cheat someone outta work or money..maybe a mechanic fucked you over...but then again it is his business and he has 2 take a responsibility for it.

well i know some1 ( onereving7 ) that went to brooksville transmission and that guys is a scum bag couldnt tell that the tranny was an LS not a GSR and they tried to fuck him over. plus he got in the car to leave and the car had no reverse then tried to blame it on some1 else screwing it up. then a week later the tranny wouldnt shift into 2nd or 4th. so i think its brooksville transmission your getting fucked over by

 

And this is why it is best you all learn how to do your own shit, and then just have a highly experienced and knowledgeable mechanic on the side to do anything you cant handle....
