which cams for a type r

I want to know which cams will produce the most power in a type r and still be good for daily driving. thanks

i think the type r cams are nice enough for daily driving... what else do you have??? maybe you just haven't let your motor breath enough to realize that cams you have now...

the cams are great, vtec hits nice, but i am just wondering if there are some that will give me some more pwoer, i have a VAFC skunk 2 cam gears and a fpr i want to put on, but i wanna wait untill i get some cams. Or if its not nessisary i will just put that stuff on and have it tunned. than later down the line hondata. thanks

get some toda's, turn up your fuel pressure a little, install your VAFC, have someone tune it, and be done with it.

i personally would keep the cams that you have... throw that stuff on and get a nice intake and exhaust setup... you will be happy... if you are not planing on racing and this is just a daily... if not then let me know and i will suggest something else...

In most cases having an aggresive cam for a bseries vtec motor will not affect normal driving conditions, mainly due to the fact that the vtec lobes are the cams are the only thing that is significantly changed.... I know some cams may be different, but like i said, in MOST CASES the primary lobes are close to stock, Vtec lobes are just alot larger....
