Default RS-R exmag cat back for a 97 SH

Does anyone know if a cat back (specifically RS-R) made for a base prelude will fit the SH model. RS-R told me that the product was test-fit on a base and they would not comment on the fit for the SH. Thx.

nope, im not familiar with this exhaust, but if you look at like greddy or apex, they will have one for prelude and prelude (sh). not exactly sure what it is about the damned sh that very few performance parts are available.

I've been able to find plenty of performance parts for the SH, most of them are not different from the base model. The exhaust components differ some because of the clearence needed for the ATTS control units. I got over my bout of lazyness and looked up the difference in my service manual. The SH has an elongated cat (TWC) and shorter mid-pipe (B Pipe). With an SH header the midpipe from an exhaust designed for the base prelude will fit with minor modification. (cutting the midpipe - which is strait so it should not be a prob)
