What would be the better choice on rods?

I have Endyn 12.5 high comp. std rod lenght pistons. 81.5mm. Its going in a 94 ls block. And should I use a block gaurd? Iam using a stock b16 head.

crower, manley, pauter, carillo, etc will all get the job done but i would just go with eagles for half the price for your power goals. and youd be very lucky to get 210-220whp out of a 1.8 lsvtec

To make 210 plus WHP on a 81mm LS/VTEC is gonna be hard.
Aftermarket cams & good tuning will help you but what you really need is a 84mm setup to hit those numbers on pump gas with ease

Eagle rods will work just fine. Make sure you purchase rods to the spec of your r/s ratio i.e. ls eagle rods if your using an ls crank etc.
