92 civic hatch / swap
i just blew.. my stock cx engine.. wich was mad slow.......and i wanted a b16 swap... but there lookn 2 expensive for me at the moment.. so i was thinkng of keepn with SOCH and just turbo.. but i still need a stronger engine.. so i was thinkn about the old si engine its SOCH and its got like 140hp right?? does any one kno were i can get it?? i need some places to go to.. or some oppinions

Its spelled SOHC (Single Over Head Cam). Anyways why dont you just get a d16z6 or d16y8 which are both vtec and then turbo those. With proper fuel management you can run 5 to 10lbs of boost. Of corse youll have to upgrade your fuel system. I would actually slap a thicker head gasket on it so it would be nice and low compression.

from any si or ex civic 92 and up. there is alot of them being sold in the forsale forum. you can pick one up for under $500 easy complete

yea i just talked to a guy at kimoto performance.. im gonna go with the d16y8...then get titanium springs...forged pistons..and the the block sleeved...then turbo it.. i think it will be nice.. i just need to get the engine.. u from tampa?
