Car Backfires and check engine light comes on everytime I let off the gas............

Dosent matter whut gear, anytime above 5 grand I let off the gas my car backfires loud as hell.............whut causes this???

Check the gap on your plugs...also check your plug wires and make sure they're plugged in good.

if the CEL is turning on you are throwing a code and it will be stored in the ecu. check it....
