The teg's are different. EF's do fold. And you can use Hatchback or 88-91 Coupe/Sedan mirrors.

well ef's fold, but only as a safety deal i think...you cant fold them in and keep them there...its just a spring....my whole deal here is to find a set of aftermarket mirrors but i have not been able to find ones for the rex....so now im on to finding something somewhat close that can be adapted...
