civic gauge cluster question

Default civic gauge cluster question

i have a cx and it has no tach, it has an oem shift light though, i wanted to know if i could get like a ex gauge cluster and can i just plug it right in or will i have to do some wiring for the tach to work??

you will have to do some wiring, just tap into the blue wire on your dizzy, or if you don't want wires all over your engine bay, i believe you can tap into this same wire on your ECU.

actually i think it should plug right in... George has a 92 CX hatch that had no tach and we plugged the new cluster right in and boom, now he has a tach...

You can plug a cluster in that has a tac & it should work just fine.
