When shit like this happens you always check for ignition & fuel.
It sounds to me like your not getting any fuel to the motor.
Check your fuses/relays etc.

Ok, I have some advice. The fireing order should look something like this on the distributor...

Try that order and some other orders, make sure there is no water on any of the plugs. Try all of that stuff, then get back to me about what happened. Good luck.

put it at top dead center & see if the marks line up ,if not the fix the problem.does not make sence by just taking a V/cover off ?
what switch(s) did u take off/paint ?

i got the car running now... the damn cam gear had jumped time on the intake side...not while the car was being driven though...it happened when my friend was holding the distributor to adjust the timing while i was in the car ... he had let it slip and the distibutor got jammed on those 2 prongs coming out and into the head itself, causing the gears to jump time...the timing belt was also loose...i just got the car so i wasn't aware of all the things wrong....everything is all back to normal now...thanks for the imput by the way
