I keep hearing about sunday sunday sunday

Is it cool if we try for a saturday?

I really wanna make it out to one of these but alas i can't on sundays

 

and 30 dudes with no shirts

 

although i like th e 4pm idea.... so people can get off work and still go to the meet

 

 

yall act like you never been to a beach before.. the beach is a good idea. being cause its so damn hot you can jump in the water.. but the pool/clubhouse sounds cool too.. either one i am in.. have no money for adventure island though.. and that 7 30 meet we better agree on for sure before we do it.. cause last one i went back like said and no one showed.. and i dont know where this benigins is ..

 

hahah... you kno... the lake park thing is still a good place i think. i mean it has most of the accommodations that most of us are looking for. next meet i am bringin my girl so the whole "sausage fest" deal wont be on my mind while im out there if all you "30 guys" decide to take off your chirts to tan or some shit.

the pool idea would be alright. i think the beach idea would be a big waste tho due to the traffic and stuff, plus beach cops are assholes and with how some of us drive i am sure it would attract some bad attention towards us.

the 4 pm thing sounds good. i live in st pete but my aunt lives right off gandy so i can clean up there and hit up bennigans afterwards.

i dont think adventure island would work either. every one would split up. our cars would be out of viewing range in the parking lot. entrance fee would limit some people from coming and their food is crazy expensive. there were no real complaints about lake park except for the heat... wear shorts or something ... keep things less complicated and keep things similar to the previous meets only lets make sure everything is organized well enough and maybe plan ahead for other areas so that we get a better turn out.

I thought about adventure island for a spot. Then I thought about how crowded it would be and the cost of tickets + food. It just wouldn't work out in my mind...

FL_civic_rider - I've seen this problem come up before, but there are more people working on saturdays than on sundays. Thats another reason why I don't wait to set a date until mid-to-late June. So people can get the day off from work ahead of time/leave the day open.

There is a place near where I live that has a clubhouse, decent sized pool, bbq grill, picknick tables, grassy area for football. I'll move on it if we don't decide on something else.

Still open to other ideas, most people don't seem to be interested in the beach so far.
