I want it to be a 13 sec car thats all I ask lol.

an h23a1 will bolt right up to the 5th gen Prelude chassis as it is the same EXACT block used for the H22 engine. You would need to convert to OBD-1 or you could try to convert H23A1 to obd-2.

You can boost either motor, H23A1 has a compression of 9.8:1 which would be better for boost, but neither engine in stock form would be able to handle much more than 300 whp imo. Personally, if I was going to turbo my enigne, I'd build it up. Why risk it? And once you boost, you know you're going to want more power sooner or later.. pick-up a spare longblock and build it up in your spare time.. you do not need to do everything at once.. buy it peice by piece and depending on your budget and how much you can set aside per week/month, you could have it finished in no time.. but that's just me.. I'd want the 2.3L but I would go with the H22A crankshaft, either block would work as they are identical (same mold), and I'd user crower pro billet rods, pick-up a nice set of pistons (the endyn roller waves I hear are nice), sleeve it via GoldenEagle and i'd bore to 89mm making my displacment 2.3L but the stroke of the H22 But that's just me... I have a spare block and boxes of spare h22 parts if anyone is interested... PM me

I was thinking about turbo on my old 4th gen(H23) but i blew it up before i got the chance. Now i'm considering it on my 5th gen(H22) but leaning towards a new car instead.

that can be someone elses project - i'm about done.

silver ac, what kind of tuning did you have done to your car after it blew? i recently bought a turbo and am boosting it soon so id like to learn from your mistakes . looking for about 300whp if possible. sorry to steal your thunder man i just had to ask that real quick. bump to the boosted h22's. thanks
