ok. so i've got some money saved up, and i'm ready for a decent tranny.
here's my graph comparing the possible trannies as well as possible custom trannies i could make (h22 with the f-series final drive, h22 with the f-series FD and f-series 5th gear, and h22 with h23 5th gear).
supposing my math is right (it probably isnt) the best one i like for my needs would be the h22 with h23 5th gear. ideally, using the f-series 5th gear in the h22 would be a great drag tranny to drive to the track- almost the same long gearing as the f22 i've got now in 5th gear with a short 1-4, but the gap between 4 and 5 is HUGE. so, if anyone gives a shit about this stuff as much as i do, check my math and give me some opinions.
