I have a 99 Teg and I used Coilovers. They ride ok but there is a little bounce to them ( that's after replacing shocks ). They are nice because if for some reason I need to raise my car back up all I need to do is jack my car up and adjust the coilovers. Springs on the other hand cant be adjusted. You'd have to find out about their ride from someone else that's using them. What ever you do, don't go el cheapo on suspension. What you pay for is what you get.

Would rather do it right than have to keep fixing it!

You could do something along the lines of Ground Control coilover sleeves with a nice shock setup. I prefer the Koni Yellow shocks.
When i had my GSR I went through 3 suspension setups before i actually found one that i liked/rode smooth/drivable!
The first setup, because i was young stupid and just learning was a set of H+R sport spring on stock shocks...biggest mistake of my life, way too low for my taste and stock shocks on those springs rode like crap. eventually upgraded to the tokico illumina shocks with the H+R springs and still wasnt what i really wanted my car to handle like...still way too low for me.
Last suspension setup i did was the Koni yellow shocks with Eibach Pro kit...perfect for daily driving and ride height, and dandled awesome through the corners. If i was to do it all over again and i didnt already have a nice set of coiovers on my new car i would definately get the same setup again!

Do RESEARCH.
Every one is going to have their own opinions.

You get what you pay for.
The good thing about Tien ss is the resale value & the quality of a full strut coil over system.
