metal shards in oil

Default metal shards in oil

i just recently changed my oil and ive noticed a few metal shards in the oil....i know its somthing pretty serious..but im unsure about what....let me know what ive done and how to fix it please

how big are they? could be anything seeing as how the engine is made of metal....have you over revved lately or since the last time you've had an oil change?

they are relatively small...but mostly are all different sized any where between 1mm and 2mm i would guess....i havent overrevved lately since the last change either..

is your car running abnormally? any funky noises, funky idle? i have no clue but i'm just trying to get info so someone could possible help you out. and how do you know it's serious?

it not running right...idle is ruff and it sounds like theres a slight clunk in the block...i just figured that it owuld be serious b/c of all these symptoms....
