look if you are serious about saving weight, (even though it is minimal) why not take the whole wiper assembly out and use rain-x? id much rather have no wipers than 1 wiper. and seriously, why couldnt you come up with a better excuse?

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the sweep using the stock wiper motors, or should I transplant a motor from a 80's GM (Buick Centurys and Chevy Cav's have about a 120* sweep).

Also, it's not as critical, but I'd also like the resting position of the wiper to be straight up and down like on the BTCC and other cup cars rather than all hanging off to the side.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

DON'T USE ANY WIPERS. MY WHOLE LIFE I HAVE NEVER HAD WIPERS ON ANY OF MY CARS. After a couple of years, wipers will leave streaks on the windshield.
