Single-wiper with FULL SWEEP?!

I want to remove another wiper motor to save more weight in my CRX, so I'd like to do a single-wiper conversion. My problem is that I want to have the single wiper sweep the whole (or at least most) of the windshield.

Does anyone know if there is a way to increase the sweep using the stock wiper motors, or should I transplant a motor from a 80's GM (Buick Centurys and Chevy Cav's have about a 120* sweep).

Also, it's not as critical, but I'd also like the resting position of the wiper to be straight up and down like on the BTCC and other cup cars rather than all hanging off to the side.

Any help would be appreciated!

you only have one motor to begain with... but i DID have a CRX when i was 15 and i cut and welded the gears to default strait up and down wipe both sides then REdefualt to the center of the windsheild... so it can be done, but you will gain NOTHING from this but looking stupid...

Dude, mad props, I love the one windsheild wiper mod, been sportin it sice 02' homie, Just kidding... please dont use the excuse that you want it to be like the touring style, thats like me trying to put a huge ass blower out the top of my hood on my crx... wouldn't it look stupid? -Ben
