upgraded brake lines
I am going to do the rear disk swap on my 89 hatch and was wandering I want to switch out the old brake lines with steel braided lines. Now If I get the Si brake lines will that work with the swap. Or do I have to buy one civic and one integra set of lines. Thanks

Bleh, I just don't feel comfortable using them on a daily driver. Perhaps if I planned to replace them every few years but I don't, so I'll stick with OEM. If you plan on going ahead and getting some, keep in mind the following:
1) Get DOT approved lines, not some cheap no name brand.
2) Be aware that over time, dirt that becomes trapped in the braid can abrade the teflon tubing. With that in mind, try and purchase lines that come with a plastic sheath over the braid for protection against road grim.

Ill take your word for it bill. I just wanted to do an ocasional autocross. So should I go back to the dealer and get the lines or should I get the lines from discount auto. Thanks alot bill.
