Default Trying to replace my shocks?

Ok I'm trying to replace my shocks but I've run into a problem. There's a bolt (along with a nut and lockwasher) that runs through the Two prongs (not the real technical name) of the shock. I can get the nut and washer off but the bolt is really in there good. How would I get this thing out?

The bolt is not the factory bolt. I had to replace them when I put my coilovers on my car.

Or, have a friend push up and down on the car while you're pulling it out.

...or just pull on the head while turning it with a wrench/ratchet. I usually just slap an open end behind the bolt and pull while the air ratchet turns the bolt.
