unless yor car is really really fast you don't need bigger brakes... unless your old ones are warped, then upgrade. stock integra brakes are fine

The only thing you should invest into is stainless steel brake lines & dot 4 or dot 5 brake fluid.

Use autozone OEM rotor replacements & good pads such as axxiss metal masters etc...

Valvoline synthetic is pretty good brake fluid.

My brake setup for 89 crx is

- 90 ls rear disk brakes
- crx sir front brakes 10.3" rotor
- 90 teg brake booster and m/c
- 90 teg prop valve

In the near future I'm going to be running redrilled 93 prelude vtec rotors (Brembo blank)and type r calipers.

hawk street pads on mine.. no fade, no squeekin. may want a slotted and/or divotted (no xdrilled) rotor to dissapate some of the additional heat. they warped my stock rotors.

I also have hawk's pads. Along with powerslot rotors (slotted, as name implies) they don't squeak, and the brake dust is nothing thats unbearable....I'd recommend them.

Current setup on a '98 Civic EX:

- ATE Super Blue fluid
- OEM style blanks up front w/ Carbotech Panthers
- 'teg system on the rear using OEM styel blanks w/ Axis Metal Masters
- '99 Si prop valve
- '00 ITR brake booster and MC

Works well. No fade after a full day at the road course last month. Good initial bite, a bit of squeaking, and a lot of dust.
