Default gsr block&ctr pistons=what compression gsr head

what would be the compression i see alot of people doing it on honda tech

the c-speedracing.com calculator says 12.0 with factory headgasket and unmilled head

it is a good bit higher than 12:1 with a gsr head. I'd say close to 12.3-4:1 due to the different comp[ression height compared to other b series piston. Basically running ctr's has the same effect as lopping 30 thousands off the block deck.

You will be fine as long as your car has the proper fuel tuning to manage such a high compression ratio.

I highly recommend hondata or a fuel controller & some dyno time to tune your fuel.

I have built an ls/vtec w/ a simular c/r on a kenji p28 w/ 16 btdc timing & it runs fine, it had not been tuned yet & it has over 3k on it.

i just heard there might be some clearance issues. and also can i use some stage 3 cams. i really dont no to much about clearances

YOU may want to be CAREFUL with any cam lift over 10.8mm
