Default highest b16 rev limit?

whats the highest rev limit on a b16 that you've seen/owned/heard of? at what point does cylinder head warpage come into play? i tend to doubt you could over rev a b16 bottom end (piston speed is just so damned low)

You'll lose the bottomend before warping the cylinder head. Rod bolts will stretch first and the piston will slap the head/valves on the exhaust stroke.

You wont warp your head.

You will float a valve or brake a retainer etc..
Or strech a rod bolt like KJ said...
or spin a bearing...

Why would you want to rev past 9500 rpms anyways.. You will more then likely stop making good power after 9000 rpms on most setups...

wow i want to see a Dseries do that.......but i think you would mess up the head first from reving to high with a built set up cause you can get Arp cromeMilirod bolts.Hbeam rods forged pistons stainless valves and tit retainers And rev the hell out of it right thats what i do and i got high freakin compression the only thing i forgot to change over to was Arp head bolts im thinking the only thing to go first in a built motor would be the bearing from heat and just melt down you think?

10,500 on a built block and semi built head. It was the end for that motor though
