Ls tranny in my gsr
If i put a ls transmission in my gsr what will happen, will the added power of my engine ruin the transmission

the power would do nothing to the tranny. if you have a all motor that ls tranny is going to slow you down. the gears are too long for N/A motors. great tranny for turbo motors though. stick with the gsr or a b16. or if you have some cash to spend get the itr

no . . . the stock GSR will not hurt it . .
however you may be a little slower b/c the LS gears are pretty tall - taller than the GSR at least . . . .

ls trannys suck ,it slows down the turbo cars,any fast cars run gsr trannys,its not turn about longer gears make u say in boost longer, do your self a favor keep your gsr tranny,i tryed the ls tranny and it slowed me down so much,

ok there a guy at the tampa acura dealer ,his larbor cost is 200 and he getts parts to u at cost his cost , its one off of fl av, call there ,have them direct your to the shop out back then ask for scott rudder,hes a good man,then tell him whats wrong with your car,make sure he knows its side work,

im not really worried about being fast, i just want my car back... and its hard to find a gsr tranny in my price range... so a ls seems more practical to get me back on the road
