unless your car is constantly blowing blue smoke your rings are probably fine did you mod your exhaust or do anything to your cat

just just need rings if your rings are bad, no need to go waste money on pistons unless you're going to do something with boost IMO. check your O2 sensors, and have a mechanic look at the car.

Took my beast down to SS today and word is my rings are shot and my shift linkage is fucked the hell up.
So I'm gona get the shift linkage done. and I think I'm just gona get the rings done.

appreciate all the input guys really do. i'm still learning and every little bit of possitive info helps
