I dont know much about the specifics on the new 04's but i do know most of it has been redesigned I dont think they would redesign the head that much the cams might fit. Id have to check on the specs of both, but like i said we dont even have manuals or documentaion on the 04 models yet. Shit we barely have the 02 and 03's !! lol Most of the internal shit has been redesigned if not diofferent material lil subtle changes. They were having issues with over revving and the chain tensioners going bad. roast valves if you peg the stock limiter with a mis-shift. Thats hondas almighty S2000 for ya !

if i boed the engine i want it to hold alot (25psi or so) of boost that would mean sleaving the block. say good bye to open deck and find bad ass rods, pistons, valve stems and springs should hold alot of boost. but honda's have alot of compression so what do i do to lower that? i spoke with a mechanic friend who said the only way to lower the compression was to get bigger piston heads and rods and to buy a bigger head gasket. is this true and are there any other ways to lower the compression? spoon makes a head gasket for the s2 but it will probably raise the comp b/c they lean towards the n/a engine. any companies to suggest? this '04 s2 has 11.1:1 now - where should i expect to be? Also if i sleeve the block will the head take all the pressure from the amount of boost? how do re-enforce the head? thanks for all of your help and suggestions!

I dont know if anyone makes pistons for a S2000 but crower will make whatever you want. Alls you do to lower compression is get dished pistons most hondas are domed to raise compression lower it like around 8.5: or even 8:1 and toss 25lbs at it all day !! Sleeve the block post it if you want, Billet H beam rods.. Balance the internals, Build the head with ferra valvetrain nice crower turbo cams adjustabele cam gears AEM EMS or MOTEC or some sort of managment. Just the basics, Build it for what you want. add a nice fuel system and say hello to m lil friend. You could bore it if you want but i dunno the specs on the F22 to know how far you could take it maybe like 2.4L 2.5L might be pushing it. BUt thatd be a beast !!
