Default Quick Question????

Im planing on putting some ITR or CTR cams in my SI just wondering if i need to change the valve train?? thanks

it would be in your best interest to upgrade to the type r valve springs

You don't NEED to, and if you are keeping your redline the same then you will be fine. If you plan on getting bigger cams later, or spinning higher then it's a good idea.

I plan on keeping my redline the same, i just wanna little extra vtec power and i need something to tun so i can put my vtec controller cam gears and fpr on.

i dont htink youll see gains like your imagining...... probably not worth the money and effort right now. Build a bottom end or go boost. Save your money and do big stuff.

He's right, it would be better to save for a GSR bottom end, you are going to put almost what you would spend on it in there anyway.

If you want to be happy in the long run...
Buy a USDM in the box type-r block from bert-o at gettel acura.
Shave your b16 head 20 thousands.
Buy portflow inners & itr outers from portflow.com
Buy skunk2 stage 1 cams & cam gears.
Retain stock retainers & valves.

Buy some hondata s100 & have it tuned.

That is over kill just to run some stage 1s.
