Default Turbo Ls Questions

I need a few questions answered.

1
turbo t3/t04 a/r:63 50 trim
If i get forged pistons (almost the same compression as stock ls block )and rods. how much more psi can i run on a stock ls block.

and with this psi how much power would i expect to make and what would the average quater mile times be.

Im not looking for the maxium potential just and idea of how my motor would perform.

I will also add a turbo headgasket and arp head bolts to this setup.

im lookin for a reliable daily driver with about 250-300. i know i read somewhere i can run these hp numbers. without any internals but i just wanna be safe and run a little more boost. lol

2

how much would it cost to get the pistons and rods but in and what else so i get while my motor is disassembled

and do i need new piston rings or does the pistons come with them

stock ls compression is only 9.2 which is fairly boost friendly. forged rods and pistons will be a good insurance for boosting.
you would have to buy new bearings and rings as well.

I have some advice for you.
Consult a professional like John at Secret Services or Neal sutton of neal sutton racing.

Its all about tuning when it comes to forced induction.
A stock ls motor can be boosted to make over 200 whp safely.

The key is to have a sleeved/forged bottom end along with a nice valvetrain etc..
